About
Cellach mac Cinaeda (died 947), King of Ui Cheinnselaig, is a rung in the unbroken father-to-son succession the king list and the pedigree both record through the tenth century at Ferns.
Research notes
~ ANNAL-ATTESTED PERSON (obit 947, king of Ui Ch. per the Book of Leinster king list/AU); filiation = son's patronymic ('Domnall mac Cellaig') + Genelach ua Ceinselaig ('...m. Cellaig m. Cinaida...'); identification of the patronymic's Cellach with this king = tract+list continuity. Grade ~ (patronymic-chain). Wired 8 Oct 2026.
